Sims 2: Some Things I Am Working On

Ok, so I thought I would post two projects that I am currently working on. (Really I have like 20, but I have been focused on these two for the past couple of days.)

The first picture is of a grain bin that I am almost done with. I just got to mess with the texture a bit more and it will be finished.

The second picture is of a dressage saddle set. I am also working on a hunter/jumper set and a western tack set, but I am having quite a bit of problems with the western one at the moment and I taking a break from it. lol.) I am hoping to have the dressage set done within the few weeks. It could be earlier or later. I don’t want to give a date, because I have to finish the texture, check it in the game, fix it to fit other horses, etc. and if something is wrong with it, I don’t want anyone to be upset that I haven’t uploaded it right away.

Those are two of the many things I’m trying to finish. I hope to have something uploaded within the end of the week. But, I can’t make any promises. It all depends on how things go with each of the objects. πŸ™‚

  1. OH MY GOD.

    …………*CRIES FROM UNCONTROLLABLE HAPPINESS*

You won’t even have to worry about making recolors of that saddle. I will make like 100. (of each of your saddle sets)

πŸ™‚ haha 20 projects is a lot! but i can’t deny that i’m very excited about each of them.

And like A French said, I will wait until they are released. And when they are, my plumbob grows a little closer to white each time.

    ^^omg that was dorky XD

  2. But why you would not do any two of the recolors? πŸ˜€
There is never enough! Especially since your recolors horses were already beautiful!

  3. The saddle has been so hard to texture. lol. I wish I was better at these things. But I am really proud of how it looks so far. *knocks on wood* . I just got to finish up the rest of the textures for the other pieces and check it in game and mold the tack set to the other horses body shapes………lol.

  4. thanks A french! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

@Pauline..girl, I don’t know how you do it..but I’m so glad you do.

Is molding difficult? Are you going to mold it to your own poses?

  5. I think it’s just time consuming. Since each horse is in a different position, (like the head being tilted) you have to adjust the bridle, saddle, etc. to fit each horse. I do plan on fitting the saddle to fit the new poses that I made as well.

  6. I imagine it’s very time consuming. Have you taken a look at Fairy Forest’s saddle? What if you just cloned that and replaced the mesh? O.o I’m no expert..have no idea what I’m even talking about really, but that’s something that makes sense to me. Her saddle and bridle are programmed to ‘snap’ to the body, no matter what pose it’s at.

ohh! i hope you do. i cant wait to see those poses, either ^.^

  7. oh that is most helpful! It would make things a lot easier for you if you could figure out how to just make them snap to any pose..any luck so far?

  8. what progrma do you use to make meshes?
I tryed downloading Milkshake but it came up as a word doc :/

  9. This is such a great dress that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality dress for free. It’s the old what goes around comes around routine.
