I’m making cranberry bread…

I know that I just made a post about my feet swelling because of all the sugar I was eating, but I just made some cranberry bread with fresh cranberries. It is still baking at the moment, but I’m excited to see how it turns out. I have never baked this type of thing before so I look forward to seeing how it tastes.

I am also looking forward to and planning on making some cookies and other Christmas desserts that I can send to my family members in a tin box. My grandmother used to do this every year and I decided that I want to continue the tradition and send it to my sisters, nieces and nephews and other relatives like she used too. I have to go to the store letter and pick up a bunch of ingredients and a few other baking supplies because I quit baking a long time ago. I am really excited to start baking again.

Enough sugar for me…

Well, for the past few days (actually since Thanksgiving), I’ve been on a sugar eating binge and my feet and legs started swelling a few days ago. This has happened in the past, but after I removed soft drinks and other sugary drinks from my diet it quit doing that. My mom thinks I have diabetes, but I’m not sure. Or maybe I am sure, but I don’t want to admit it. Anyways, she wants me to go to the doctors, but I don’t really want to at the moment. I am keeping my feet elevated and the swelling is going down, so that should help.
